For 8 years, the Syrian army fought, sometimes against great odds and lack of supplies. Yet, in less than 3 weeks, the rebels, without an airforce or major artillery, seize Syria.

As we are watching this video Damascus has been captured and Assad regime fled the country. In Just 11 days Assad with 200 000 soldiers lost the battle against 30 000 rebel forces. Now that is impressive.

President Putin said in 2015 that Russians cannot be more Syrian than the Syrians themselves. I feel sorry for Syria and even Europe, which will now be flooded with refugees. But the Syrian army has not learned to fight.
