When this saga is over, and we add up all the extra deaths from delays in diagnosing diseases, the extra suicides and mental illness, the 100% increase in child abuse, the increases in domestic voilence, the destruction small businesses, the job losses, the hardship and loneliness suffered by millions, the undermining of the public trust and confidence in our police forces – and the hundreds of billion in debt created – the lockdowns will be seen as the most disasterous policy failure in our nation’s history.
