Trump attorney Sidney Powell said a member of President-elect Joe Biden’s transition team, Peter Neffenger, is also a member of the board of directors for a company that committed election fraud that could cause the results of the 2020 election to be overturned.
“He is president and on the board of directors of Smartmatic, and it just so happens he’s on Mr. Biden’s presidential transition team that’s going to be nonexistent, because we’re fixing to overturn the results of the election in multiple states,” said Powell during an appearance on Sunday Morning Futures with Maria Bartiromo. “President Trump won by not just hundreds of thousands of votes but by millions of votes that were shifted by this software that was designed expressly for that purpose.”
The article goes on to state the following:
Powell said Neffenger had knowledge that the software provided by Smartmatic was designed to rig elections.
Powell said, “We have sworn witness testimony of why the software was designed. It was designed to rig elections. They did this on purpose. It was calculated, they’ve done it before… we have so much evidence, I feel like it’s coming in through a firehose.”
“I never say anything I can’t prove,” Powell said, when Bartiromo questioned her.
Powell also mentioned that in December 2019, several Democrat senators had sent a letter warning about the risks of the Dominion software, as they addressed several problems that “threaten the integrity of our elections,” including “vote switching.”

Soon after Powell’s interview, Fox News weekend host Eric Shawn brought on a guest to “debunk” Bartiromo’s segment with Powell to Fox viewers. Ben Hovland, who runs the Federal Election Assistance Commission, declared, “The reality is, this was the most secure election we’ve ever had, and it was the most well-run election we’ve ever had.”
“The American people made their voice heard, and when we spread conspiracy and don’t back that up with facts, it has an impact,” he insisted.
Shawn then aired an interview with the top Republican election in Philadelphia, as he denied the allegations by the Trump campaign, and declared there was no evidence of voter fraud.
Shawn moved on to address the allegations against the Dominion Voting Systems, reading their statement to viewers. “Election officials across the country insist as of today, there is no evidence of any widespread fraud affecting the outcome of the presidential election,” Shawn insisted, saying the “baseless and false claims” are an insult to the thousands of election officials and workers across the country.
