Whooping cough ‘evolving’ into superbug, sparking calls for new vaccine

There’s been a concerning discovery made by a group of Australian medical scientists.

They’ve found the potentially deadly whooping cough is evolving into a super bug and the bacteria is finding ways to bypass the current vaccine.

Now a Perth mum whose baby died from the disease says it’s time for a new vaccine to be developed to help better protect those who can’t protect themselves.
