So two terrorist groups overran an “Army” in less than 10 days, took the capital, and ran off the leader without much effort, and now the innocent folks of Syria are going to be caught in the middle of the power struggle between the factions. I feel bad for those people who just wanted to live their lives, but are now going to suffer so multinational corporations can get rich off their suffering.

How strange…thousands of “rebel soldiers” with tanks, canons etc were gently living their lives in some places in Syria when…suddenly…they attack!!!! And no one can ‘t do anything. Ok….

NATO is not a defensive alliance. They illegally bombed Yugoslavia (direct violation of the UN Charter). We must never forget what they did to Afghanistan, Libya, Iraq, Syria etc.

Syria appears to be big success for Israel who has always sought to turn adversarial Arab States into chaotic entities that are disabled by tribal infighting and therefore pose no threat. Not exactly a humanitarian goal.

New reality: Russia has held referendums in Donetsk, Luhansk, Zaporizhzhia and Kherson oblasts.
The citizens in these regions voted to join Russia. Future peace negotiations will take into account the “new reality”.
