Federal Court Judge Orders U.S. Dept. of Justice To SAVE Comey’s Emails

A judge has ordered the Department of Justice (DOJ) to preserve any emails located on former FBI Director James Comey’s personal email account after a government watchdog revealed he used the account to conduct government business.

According to the DOJ Inspector General’s report, “We identified numerous instances in which Comey used a personal email account to conduct unclassified FBI business.” Hmmm!  How interesting!  Anything ring a bell, e.g., a Secretary of State’s personal emails too?  However, we have to speculate if Comey “bleached” his, or, by chance, had someone take a hammer to things.

That DOJ IG’s report DOJ OIG RELEASES REPORT ON VARIOUS ACTIONS BY THE FEDERAL BUREAU OF INVESTIGATION AND DEPARTMENT OF JUSTICE IN ADVANCE OF THE 2016 ELECTION”  is 21 pages long and offers a “lot of food for thought.”  Reading it just may be worth it, if you’re really interested in what went on.
