Whose Research Is It Anyway? Meet One Scientist Who Gets Paid to Defend Both Tobacco and Wireless Products

It’s getting really hard to know who or what to believe about almost everything these days.

In regard to science and research, according to a 2016 article by The Center of Public Integrity, Dr. Peter Valberg is a “rented white coat” who defends toxic chemicals in lawsuits.

He has defended Big Tobacco many times:

Peter is with Gradient Research.

His Gradient profile doesn’t include that he also has a doctorate in Philosophy.  A scientist with a doctorate in Philosophy seems like money well spent for courtroom testimony.

Peter has also been hired to defend many products over the years including some that emit wireless radiation.  Products that emit wireless radiation include cell phones, utility “Smart” Meters, WiFi routers, and more.  For those who may not be aware, wireless radiation was classified as a Group 2B Possible Carcinogen in 2011 by the World Health Organization.

Some scientists believe the classification is too low.

Regardless, when it comes to wireless radiation, research doesn’t seem to matter due to current U.S. laws and regulations and safety standards.

Here’s a peak into Peter’s courtroom legacy:
